Hi teacher friends! I’m Nikki and I’m here to serve you. I graduated from Stetson University in 1997 with an Elementary Ed. degree. A few years later I received a Masters from the University of South Florida. Since then, I have become certified to teach English and Social Science through grade 12 as well as being gifted and reading endorsed. I have spent over a decade working with dyslexic students using an intensive remedial approach. I have been in education 24 years with a focus on writing. Many of my co-teachers were frustrated with teaching students to write. They asked me to make it easy, and I did! I have spent 12 years making writing instructional videos that create a co-teaching experience in the classroom. I teach, while you facilitate the lessons. I truly have a heart to make teaching easy and effective. Let’s face it, we all have a lot to do. When it comes to essays, I got you!
Personally…
I have a wonderful husband of 22 years and 4 daughters. Two have flown the nest and two are teenagers. We live on the lake in Florida and enjoy the warm weather. I teach 5th grade and consider it a hobby. I love my morning Coke in a foam cup filled with ice. It’s the little things.
