fifth grade narrative writing

This fifth-grade writing prompt pdf includes a 5th grade writing prompt for narrative text-based writing.  It includes two fifth-grade writing prompts with the articles.  One is on Confectionary the other is on The Pet Shop.  Students are instructed to write an essay using text evidence in the response.  This is great standardized assessment practice.  It is also suitable for grades 4 and 6.  Instructions will also be provided on how to locate other free sample test items and instructional videos for additional practice through Write Bright.
