narrative writing sample

This third-grade writing prompt pdf includes a 3rd grade writing prompt for narrative text-based writing.  It includes two third-grade writing prompts with the articles.  One is on Summer Camp the other is on the Beach.  Students are instructed to write an essay using text evidence in the response.  This is great standardized assessment practice.  It is also suitable for grades 4 and 5.  Instructions will also be provided on how to locate other free sample test items and instructional videos for additional practice through Write Bright.
