persuasive writing prompts

This sixth-grade writing prompt pdf includes a 6th grade writing prompt for persuasive text-based writing.  It includes two sixth-grade writing prompts with the articles.  One is on UFOs the other is on Languages.  Students are instructed to write an essay using text evidence in the response.  This is great standardized assessment practice.  It is also suitable for grades 4 and 5.  Instructions will also be provided on how to locate other free sample test items and instructional videos for additional practice through Write Bright.
